MOPS of Gaston County:
The Gaston County MOPS group invites new interested Moms and returning members to an Open House at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 21st at First Presbyterian Church in Mount Holly (133 South Main Street, Fellowship Hall).
MOPS is a program for mothers with children under school age, infants through kindergarten. The program fosters authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope. MOPS is a place where you can come as you are to be encouraged, equipped and developed as a mother and a leader.

University Area Moms:
University Area Moms (UAM) is an active organization for stay-at-home mothers (and dads) with children 5 years of age and younger. Founded in 1996, our organization attracts families in a Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
We encourage children to have fun and learn social skills through a monthly calendar packed full of play dates, park days, excursions, and many other events. For Mom’s, we have Mom’s Night Out activities, Weekend Getaways, and many opportunities to get to know other Moms and form lasting friendships.

York County Dads
Welcome to York County Dads! My name is Chris, and yes, I am a Stay at Home Dad (SAHD). This is a place where Stay at Home Dads in the York County (Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay) area can get together to network, share their knowledge (or lack of), and of course allow their kids to play with other kids who may be taken care by a Stay at Home Dad. As a SAHD I know of the endless (impossible) amount of work involved in taking care of a child as well as the duties a man usually gets stuck with such as taking out the trash, or mowing the lawn. A 40 hour work week installing digital cable or even running for Senate would be a vacation as a SAHD never gets any time off. Currently, I am writing this is my time off which is 11 pm.
I have one boy, Samuel. He is a great kid but as a SAHD I know that he needs interaction before he enters school. I also know of how isolated any stay at home parent can feel and knew that I needed to start this group right in York County, South Carolina. I currently reside in Rock Hill, and have been in South Carolina or Charlotte for the last 13 years.
