Tagging Template
Tot Trade Charlotte has developed a tagging template to make your life easier! It is not a requirement to use this template, but an option to help you save time! Either print out the template and write your information on your tags or create your tags online!
Hint: Organize your items according to size and gender, tagging time will be cut in half!
How do I use the Tag Template?
You will need the following to print your tags from your computer:
- 8 1/2 x 11 card stock (you can purchase this at Walmart or any area office
supply store) Please do not use regular copy paper, it is too flimsy and may fall off item - Adobe Acrobat Reader Installed on your Computer (If you do not have
Adobe, CLICK HERE to download for FREE) - A printer hooked-up to your computer
- Safety Pins
Then Follow these simple steps:
- Download the Tot Trade Tag Template (Make sure to note where the file
is saving on your computer) - Open the Tag Template
- Click on the line above the words "Consignor Number" (type in your
consignor id #) Your Consignor Number should appear on all 4 tags.
Hit "TAB" to advance to the next blank until you arrive at the "Size" blank
on the top left tag. Fill in the size of your item, then hit "TAB" to advance
to the "Brand Name", etc. etc.
VERY IMPORTANT If you want to DONATE your item if it does not sell
during the sale, click in the box next to the word donate. An "X" will
appear which indicates it is your wish that the item WILL BE donated at the end
of the sale.
If you DO NOT want your item to be donated, leave this option blank.
If you DO NOT want your item to be DISCOUNTED during the sale, make
sure to put an ND (NO DISCOUNT) in the blank at the bottom right.
If you are writing out your tags using a 3x5 card, please see the listed example.
