TAGGING CLOTHING AND SHOES

On garments, attach the tag with a safety pin near the upper right side of the garment. All clothing items should be hung with the hook facing left.(like a question mark) Please use safety pins to hang pants rather than folding them over the hanger.

*NOTE: Please do not group items as an outfit if they are different sizes.

Ziploc bags are best for shoes. Place the card on the inside of the Ziploc bag, then pin the safety pin through both sides of the bag, including the card. If shoes won't fit in a Ziploc, tie or pin laces together, or use rubber bands on loafer type shoes. Pin card securely to shoes. Cards will be removed at check-out, so please remember this as you determine how to affix your cards

TAGGING OTHER ITEMS

Toys, books, videos & small items can be placed in Ziploc bags. The bag's contents should be thoroughly described on the card.

On large items, simply tape the tag to the item for easy viewing and removal. If the item includes extra parts, please make note of them in the item's description. IMPORTANT: Place masking tape with your consignor number & price on the bottom or underneath side of each large item and each shoe ALONG WITH the 3x5 index card. This helps identify your item in case the card is lost, Please DO NOT put duplicate 3x5 index cards on an item.

IMPORTANT TAGGING DETAILS

  • Minimum item price of $1.00. Only $1.00 increments.
  • Remember to place masking tape (or use computer generated labels to save time!) with your consignor number on each item.  This helps identify your item in case the card is lost.  If you are shopping this season, please check out our Consignor Corner for items that have lost their tags!
  • Competitively price your items. PRICE TO SELL! What would you pay? Normally 25-30% of retail is a good general figure to go by when pricing your items. We'd rather give you a bigger check than a lot of unsold items! See our Pricing Tips for more details on pricing your items.
