Discrepancy

Thank you for choosing to consign with Tot Trade Charlotte.  We value the trust you place in us to sell your items.  We make every effort to secure your items and ensure that any unsold items are returned at the end of the sale; however, understand that situations occur that are out of our control such as sorting, etc.  In the event that you have a discrepancy, please see our discrepancy guidelines.   Please note that these guidelines must be followed in order to file a discrepancy.  No exceptions will be allowed.  Thank you in advance for your time and attention. 

In order to file a discrepancy at the end of the sale, consignors must adhere the following guidelines:

  1. Use Cardstock Paper
  2. Label every item with masking tape or computer generated label Consignor Number / Price
  3. File discrepancy within 24 hours of sale pick-up. (See Important Dates)  You may file a discrepancy at pick up or email the information to :  tottrade@hotmail.com.  Please do not file your discrepancy twice.
  4. Discrepancy information must include the following information:  consignor name / number and COMPLETE barcode information.  For example:  100-4-9.00-0  This number can be found under the barcode/the first range of numbers on your inventory.  This will expedite our research process.  We cannot look for your item based on a description.
  5. Signed Consignor Agreement
  6. Printed inventory at drop off
  7. Consignors who print on BOTH sides of the tag will forfeit the opportunity to file a discrepancy.
  8. Tags CANNOT be changed in ANY WAY.  Once you print your tag, all the information about your item including the price, discount or to donate your item.  If your tag has been manipulated in any way Tot Trade Charlotte will pull the item and return it after the sale.  This is to protect our consignors and ensure proper credit.
  9. Please note if someone other than the consignor picks up items, the consignor cannot file a discrepancy at the end of the sale.

Thank you for your time and attention to our request.  Once you have sent your discrepancy, you WILL NOT receive a follow-up email.  Consignors who do not follow the listed requirements forfeit the opportunity to file a discrepancy.
Please note that Tot Trade Charlotte understands a mom’s hectic schedule; however it is important that we collect all requested information at drop off. In order to keep costs down we will offer supplies for a nominal charge.  If you need either item or both, the charges can be deducted from your consignor check:

Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope:  $1.50

Online Inventory Printed:  $3.00
