Welcome to Tot Trade Charlotte! First and foremost, thank you for choosing Tot Trade Charlotte. Tot Trade Charlotte is your children’s consignment sale and we can’t be successful without your participation. With the help of our consignors, volunteers, staff and over four years of developing our sale here is a quick guide to consigning with Tot Trade Charlotte. Step 1: Sign Me Up!
I am ready to SELL…but I have a few questions:
- Register as a new or returning consignor using myconsignmentmanager.com. The link is found on the Consignor Page and homepage of the Tot Trade website.
- Please pay consignor fee to complete your registration process. You may pay by check, address is located on the payment section of the registration page. Please note that Tot Trade Charlotte must receive your check by fee deadline in order to complete your registration and qualify for early bird registration fee.
- You do not have to be present to sell your items. Tot Trade Charlotte is set up like a department store. Tag your items, drop them off and we do the rest!
- Tot Trade Charlotte requires a minimum of 15 items to consign, including clothes, toys, accessories and maternity!
- Tot Trade Charlotte offers (3) tagging options: handwritten index card, tagging template found online on the consignor page and ONLINE tagging, a free service provided by Tot Trade Charlotte.
- Tot Trade Charlotte will mail your consignor check two weeks after the end of the sale.
- Consignors will receive (2) presale passes and are invited to the 50% off select items presale.
- Tot Trade Charlotte cannot return your hangers. You will get hangers from items that you purchase at presale and we do have extras at the end of the sale on a first come, first serve basis.
- Please be sure to check out the NON ACCEPTED items.
- Tot Trade Charlotte accepts CASH/MC/VISA
- Tot Trade Charlotte is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or not picked up at the end of the sale.
- Tot Trade Charlotte employs off duty police offers for security purposes.
- There is no admission fee during the sale.
- At this time, children are welcome at the presale: however please note there are A LOT of shoppers during presale. Tot Trade Charlotte suggests that you use a carrier if possible. For safety reason, please do not let children ride/play with toys.
Step 2: WHEN YOU GET TO THE SALE
* Please look for the Tot Trade Charlotte Drop Off Signs.
*Remember to download and sign your consignor agreement and bring it with you to drop off
- Please stay in your car ( you will be directed to one of 2 entrances depending upon if you have a scheduled 100 + item or more apt)
- A volunteer will meet you and confirm your address and pass out armbands
*consignors will receive (2) armbands for the presale - Move forward and volunteers will assist you with removing items from your car
- Please park your car (outside the building)
- Please put away non-clothing items on the floor while volunteers check-in your clothes
- Make sure to check the reject rack before you leave for any items that may have been rejected
