If your house is like mine,  summertime has started!  Summer camps, trips to the pool, play dates and visiting our favorite parks around town!  Did I mention that I am purging my house?  I absolutely cannot believe how much stuff that I have…I am almost embarrassed since I have been purging over the past three years!  My only saving grace is that we have four children under six years old!

While I was going through my children’s closets, books and  toys I realized how much stuff I leave behind each season because I wait to tag my stuff until the last minute!  Yes, believe it or not with all the planning for the sale, preparing my family for my week away from home, tagging is the last thing on the list!

Well, with house renovations at an all time high and watching my kids and their play habits we just have so much they just don’t use!  So, I was determined to get ahead this season by starting this summer!  I found some beautiful items that just need a button here or a run through the washer….something that I couldn’t do if I waited this season….maybe I am excited about our new 30,000 sq. ft. building?

I can’t believe that when Jodi and I started Tot Trade in Charlotte that I was 7 months pregnant with Thomas, Jodi had just had surgery on her arm and we tried to fill 10,000 sq ft!

With your help, moms have made Tot Trade their sale!  We truly try to give you the consignor, shopper and volunteer the best customer service we can.  Customer Service is something that has really gone by the wayside these days and at the end of the day that is what we have to stand on.  I know I always go back to businesses that go above and beyond!

I don’t know what will happen with the economy, but I know Tot Trade is there to help families meet the needs of raising children from clothes to toys….and dear friends we meet along the way!

Before I sign off I have to congratulate one of our dear staff members, sweet Emily.  Many know Emily as the young woman who helps us at the cash registers and everywhere in between!  Emily graduated from high school in May!  Emily feels like a part of the family and we could not be more proud of her.  Emily has a kind heart and glows from within and we know she will go places!

Finally, our very own Chick Fil A rep, Shannon is awaiting her 2nd arrival any day now.  Every baby is special, but this pink bundle is truly a blessing and we are all excited to introduce you to this little lady!

We will have more updates in the next week, if you have not registered, hurry and take advantage of the early bird special.  Next week the consignor fee increases to $6.00.  We have lots of goodies and things you have come to expect with Tot Trade this season and we could not be more excited!  Stay cool and use sunscreen!  Rhonda
