Tot Trade Charlotte

Whew!  What  a sale!  I cannot believe how much stuff we had and how much stuff we sold.  Jodi and I are in the process of finalizing and putting checks in the mail and trying to get back to life as normal for a while! 

Thank you to all of the wonderful consignors, volunteers, Tot Trade staff and Cabarrus Arena staff.  Without you we cannot be successful!  Based on our growth this season, we have some exciting news for the Fall, we are moving to the Events Center with over 30,000 sq ft! of space for all of your wonderful goodies!  We want to be sure that we have enough room to display your items so things continue to be organized and not overwhelming. 

We learned a lot this season and appreciate your comments.  We will add more registers next season and have volunteer help guide customers to an open register.  We will also add two computers to help scan tags so consignors will be able to view their settlement reports in a timely fashion.  We have added some great staff members this season which will be a great asset in the Fall!  With just a few changes in place we think we can handle our growth and continue to service our customers whether you are a consignor or shopper!

We hope that you had the opportunity to join us for the Billy Jonas Concert….what a great Sunday afternoon!  I was sad that my children could not participate in all of the banging and clanging going on….due to the storm that blew through on Saturday, my husband had to fly the power company observers to survey the damange and could not get to Charlotte in time for the concert.  But, I did get some cute t-shirts which all of the children enjoyed!

I love going through all of the wonderful goodies that I purchase each season.   I could not believe all of the new with tags items that I was able to pick up!  

Toys were a HUGE hit this season!  We added about 20 + tables to accomodate all of the great items!

Thank you so much for choosing Tot Trade.  Jodi and I know that there are a lot of sales out there and appreciate the trust and confidence that you place with us each season.  We will continue to make changes to better serve you each season!

OK mom - I know that there are a lot of activities going on this weekend - please let TOT TRADE be one of those activities…..you are not going to believe all of the stuff we have this season!  We have never had so much stuff!  Clothes, shoes, strollers, outdoor equipment, we have toddler beds, cribs, kitchens….TOYS, TOYS, TOYS…..ok I have to go so I can help sort and get this stuff out!  Remember…..look for our video in about 2 hours…you can get a sneak peak…… WE ARE SO EXCITED!  See you soon……..on YOU TUBE!  RHONDA & JODI

Can you feel it?  Can you hear it?  The phone is ringing off the hook, moms are emailing like crazy, I think the site will blow up!  We LOVE IT!  Excitement is in the air …. and I think we need a little fun and excitement !  The thing I love mos about Tot Trade are the friendships and connections we make.  I meet some of the most amazing women each season!  So many consignors have become dear friends and I absolutely love it when they have fabulous ideas that they share or great sites!  More than one has forwarded a site I am sure most know about Smarty Pants….well, I think I am hooked!  If you haven’t seen the site - check out the link and be in the know!

Did I mention fun and excitement?  Got off the phone this afternoon with the very “Banging and Clanging” Billy Jonas office for this season’s family concert!  Billy will be bringing a few friends to join the party!  If you have not purchased your tickets…we still have a few….please go to the box office at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center and the very sweet Daphane will take good care of you.  If I have said it once I have said it a thousand times, I LOVE THESE people!  Ladies, they ROCK and work very hard to help us put on a GREAT sale!  Thank you to Cabarrus Arena & Events Center for the press, facility and support I know we will get this season!

Ok - so you want to get a jump on where things are this season?  Tot Trade has put together a floorplan for you!  We have included it on our website under downloads, but I have attached a copy to this entry as well.  A few things to remember when shopping

• Bring a basket tied with a belt to drag behind you
• Tot Trade accepts MC/VISA/CASH ONLY
• Tot Trade will feature 6 check out lines as well as 2 EXPRESS lanes for 20 items or less!
• Bring a List!
• Some moms bring “premeasured” string to measure length, etc.
• Concessions will be available in the Lobby 
• Tot Trade features a changing and nursing station sponsored by BILO
• Tot Trade offers a dressing room for MATERNITY CLOTHING ONLY (Sorry, we cannot offer this service for children’s clothing)

So plan your attack on the items that you want to scope out first and enjoy your day!  Remember we will feature 2 DISCOUNT DAYS this season: 

• Sunday, Select Items are 40% OFF
• Monday, Select Items are 60% Off
